On the street outside of the Herald Square Macy’s. Holiday vibes. Kids and families looking at the window displays. Guys in costumes: Santa Claus, Hello Kitty, Elmo, a trio of Hells Angels. Noise from a nearby protest at the Gap, Inc., accompanied by giant inflated rats that reminded me of Cosmopolis.
